Gearing up 4 the summer

We've been both been very busy lately-me with school and Jared preparing the office for the summer. I think the biggest hassle for Jared has been trying to get all the licensing done. Every one in his office has to obtain a permit for every single city/suburb in the Atlanta area. That's a lot of paperwork! So he's been busy busy. A couple of weeks ago we had a party for his crew at FatCats, a bowling alley. We had so much fun! I'm so glad there are so many fun people coming with us, including close friends!

Here's a link to our apartments that we'll be staying at in Atlanta...http://www.loftsperimetercenter.com/ I tried to get some pictures but they are all copyrighted. Looks pretty sweet!

School is almost done for the semester. Yes! However, my original plans have changed. You know that saying about if you wanna hear God laugh tell him your plans? Sometimes I feel like that. I was going to "walk" this April and then be officially graduated by August. But I've now decided that this summer would just be way too busy if I tried to do my required internship along with about ten other credits. Especially since those credits would have to be online through Independent Study. And I have no plans for the fall like I thought I was going to...so I will do my internship this summer in Atlanta and then finish up in the fall. So a December graduation it is. I have applied several different places in Atlanta for an internship...still waiting to hear back. I have my fingers crossed for the Dekalb County Board of Health, maybe in their Safe Kids program.

Update on Lenny: His new thing is to stay outside most of the day and once in awhile all night. He likes to bring me home surprises...Sick! The neighbors love it though...one neighbor told me Lenny will catch a mouse and then drop it off by their dumpster. LOL

14 Nieces and Nephews!-now with pictures!

Jared and I now have 14 nieces and nephews! Welcome baby Macy Jane Day, born March 10! Macy is my sister Jackie's 4th child and I was lucky enough to visit mom and baby already. Macy came a little early but is perfectly healthy and I had the privilege to babysit Jackie's other kids while she was in the hospital. Let's just say it was interesting going from having no kids to taking care of 3 kids for a couple of days. Jackie you are an amazing woman!

APX Alarm protects families!

We just learned about this story of a boy in Amarillo where the APX alarm that was installed in his home last summer (by one of the guys in Jared's office, our friend Jon. You're awesome Jon!) helped the police catch the guy that broke into his house and held the boy and his family at gun point! It only took the police 2 minutes to get there! Sweet! Go APX!
Here's a short video about it:
