More from graduation weekend

I am way behind in posting. Here are some more pictures from graduation weekend. One of the best parts was having half of my family all together in the Oquirrh Mountain temple doing sealings for our ancestors. What a great feeling it is to know that we can all be together forever.
Jared receiving his diploma.
I guess I was a little camera shy. It was such a nice program because as we walked across the stage they displayed a picture and some background information about us.
Woohoo!

This is my roommate from freshman year, Hannah!! It was so funny we were talking about her and she and her family pulled up in their car to take pictures the same time as us! So fun! We started together and finished together. Congrats Hannah!

Here's a Little Taste of Fort Worth

Our cute home for the next year. Yes it's on 3 different levels. I'm going to get nice calves and buns :)
Our view out of our balcony. You can't see it very well from this picture but we can see the skyscrapers of Fort Worth from here. And our complex is surrounded by grazing longhorns in pastures. Love it!
Living room. Lenny has found a new favorite sleeping place. He loves that chair.

We went to the Fort Worth botanical gardens one Sunday. Its a couple mile stretch of plants and gardens and ponds-all free, right in downtown Fort Worth.
Then we had free tickets to the zoo. Best zoo I've ever been to. Jared's favorite was the wart hog. Can't you tell by that cheesy grin?

Scary salt water crocodile. Hard to believe something so prehistoric looking can still exist.
The giraffes were my favorite. Can you tell my hair is loving the humidity? Not.

3 Years and Counting

We have been married 3 years! We got married on May 4. Little did we know that May 4 is also Star Wars day. May the fourth be with you! Haha
This year we celebrated early since we knew we would be busy on our special day. We went and stayed a weekend at Zermatt Resort in Midway, UT. What a fun and romantic atmosphere! The whole resort is designed to be like a Swiss village. And actually, much of the town of Midway designed the same way because of their Swiss heritage. We loved all of the free swiss chocolate truffles. So yummy! We enjoyed the spa quite a bit too!
Then for our real anniversary, we went out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants-Panera Bread Bakery. They don't exist out west so we couldn't wait to eat there once we got to Texas. Jared of course bought me flowers (he is so sweet and always buys me flowers!).

Welcome to Texas

Our arrival in Texas was kind of rough.

1. Jared got a $200 speeding ticket. Four out of the five tickets he's gotten in his life have been in Texas. Ha. I guess they have it out for him.

2. When we were in Wal Mart that night somebody did a hit-and-run on our SUV. The whole driver's side door is smashed in. Who does that sort of thing?? Luckily we have full insurance coverage.

Oh well, makes for a good story I guess. We are just thankful to be here and that we arrived safely. Jared is loving knocking doors here and has already sold 4 systems in two days. Woohoo! Our apartment is super sweet too and I'll post pictures later. :)
