14 Months the latest and greatest!

Woohoo! 14 months and I'm a baller! I'm thinking about sending this picture to Dave Rose at BYU...tell him to look for me in 17 years.
I can even say "ball". With the L sound even.
I'm always happy and I love to be tickled.

Me and Dad havin' a chat on the swings.

We took the boat out on Helena Regulating Reservoir. We chased ducks around and Dad snagged some salmon.

 Lots of cuddling...
 and playing outside...
I like to brush my two teeth :)

I got to spend some time with Daisy, Jorden and Ariel's dog. She looks vicious but she is the sweetest and the best with kids. I even learned to say Daisy.

I love Gramma. I;m starting to like giving slobbery wet kisses. Mom can't get enough of them.
We built a fort out of the couch cushions one day.
My favorite toy lately is the measuring tape. I helped Dad put up some shelves.
I practiced playing baseball while the yankees lost out.

 Hey batter batter!

I'm such a big boy now! I like to climb up in the rocking chair and rock myself.
I'm getting pretty good with a spoon and a fork. Food tastes a lot better when I can stab it with a fork and feed myself!

I like to do tricks and climb into drawers and stand up on my push car :)
My new best friend is Lion. Mom and Dad got it for me because I like every book that has a lion in it. I'll point to the lion and roar. ROAR!
We went to Fairfield to play with Addy on her birthday. We shared toys and had races crawling up and down the stairs.
 And rocked with Grandma.
And read lots of books with Grandma.
 Happy Birthday Adda boo!
Thanks for sharing your chocolate cupcakes. Yum. I was sick with a stomach bug a few days before but I was feeling good enouch to eat chocolate!

We came back home and it snowed! This is me deciding that I really did like being out in the snow and the half hour of screaming while mom tried dressing me was ridiculous and not necessary.
We'll be putting a lot of miles on this sled this winter. Also a good shot of my backyard.

13 months- toddlerhood!

I have entered the realm of toddlerhood at full speed! I weigh 22 pounds and I'm not sure how tall I am. I am a pro at walking and am starting to figure out how to run! I think its funny to walk backwards. I understand a lot of different words/phrases including "let's go outside," "bathtime" "go get a ball, toy, book, truck etc." "sit" "stand up" "touch your toes" "shoes" 'dinnertime" and lots others. I can point to my hair, mouth, and nose when asked.

Mom and Dad have been trying hard to consistently read scriptures with me and say prayers. We finished the Book of Mormon last week. When its time for prayer I clasp my hands together when I see mom or dad fold their arms. And sometimes I'll do it as soon as we sit down at the table. I'm a CUTIE!

A few weeks ago I was so ready to go home after church. When the closing prayer was said, I shouted, "YAY!" Everyone had a good laugh.

I survived my first major injury.  Mom plays volleyball once a week at the church while us kids play in the overflow. I tripped and sliced my forhead open on something. When Mom got to me my face was covered with blood and my shirt was soaked as well. Thankfully, our friend Dr. Andy came right over with the superglue. It was really deep but not wide enough for stitches. I was a tough boy and only cried for about 5-10 minutes. After I was cleaned up I just wanted down to play some more. Mom was definitley more traumatized than I was. We were thinking I could be Harry Potter for Halloween since I may have a scar on my forehead. Mom only took pictures on her cell phone right after the incident and maybe she'll put those on here later. But you can see the cut in some of these pictures.
We have been busy working on things around the house. I got to help Daddy put up the blinds in the living room and dining room.
We got the blinds that are cordless and have the bottom up and top down feature.

We have been soaking up the last days of warm weather. I love playing outside in our big yard and helping water the plants.

Taking a sip from the hose.

I could play outside all day!
We went for a weekend trip up to Shelby. I got to play with grampa and gramma while mom and dad went to the Cardston temple.

We ate dinner outside and gramma gave me a chicken bone to suck on. I was in heaven. I just laid down on the grass and enjoyed my chicken bone.

I also got to play in nursery at chuch in shelby. I was completely worn out after church. I played really well with the other kids. I especially enjoyed sitting on a little chair during the lesson and coloring.
The new blinds are great because I can open them myself and look out.
Mom thinks I could be a chef someday. I love playing in the kitchen and I even helped Mom make pumpkin bread.
Playing with the soaker hose...
Taking time to smell the roses...

Here I am scribbling with crayons for the first time. I dropped the crayon right when mom took the picture.
We love going to Canyon Ferry Lake and checking out the sail boats and yachts.

 and playing on the beach...
Daddy showed me the big carp in the water
and Dad managed to snag one...

An attempt to take a picture of us in front of our house.

Helping Dad plant some new Potentillia bushes
I found a worm and tried to eat it.
Ryan and Melissa and the fam came for a visit. I got to meet my new cousin, Ellie.
I quite liked her except sometimes when Mom held her.
What a bunch of good lookin' boys. Luke, Jonah, Ethan, Zac, and Brock.
Oh, and I love watermelon!
