22 Months

This post is kind of late but here are some things about Brigham at 22 and 1/2 Months

June was such a busy month for us. I think we were home 12 days the whole month, and a week of that was spent recovering from my surgery. But it was a good busy. Busy having fun! We went to Disney World (separate post coming on that), Duke's wedding, a family reunion (pics from that will be on 23 month post) and lots of other places.

Potty training is going really well this week.  He thinks he's pretty big stuff sitting on the potty. Sunday he had zero accidents and even went twice while at church. This was huge because he hadn't gone too many times in public restrooms. He likes to get a sticker or a dum dum sucker for a reward. He only wears diapers at night and during nap time now. Woohoo!

Some things he likes to do for fun:
He is all boy and wants to be outside all day long. Swinging, sliding, digging in the dirt, swimming, and running up and down our driveway. He likes to yell "marks, set, go!" and then race down. And of course pushing/riding trucks and strollers around on the driveway if really fun too.
When we are inside he likes to play with his tool set or his trains and cars. He is a daredevil too and has a blast jumping from the coffee table to the couches.

His bottom teeth are finally making an appearance. He's just had his two front bottom teeth for almost a year now.

He is such a good talker. He'll repeat anything you say (so be careful) and is getting really good at 3-4 word sentences. Like tonight after he had smeared his dinner all over his face and hair he said, "I'm a mess!" Jared's favorite words to hear are "Daddy home!" I think those are mine too.

Duke and Natalie got married in Bountiful. They looked so happy together and Natalie is a great addition to our family. Brig calls her Nanie. Brig had a fun time playing with all of his cousins. Everyone looked so sharp in their mint green and peach clothes. Sorry family, no new pictures. All of these are borrowed from your blogs since our camera was broken.

You will notice Brigham is holding a firetruck and bus in almost every single picture. He did not put them down the whole weekend. Jaxon was nice enough to give them to him when it came time to go home.

Don't I have the most beautiful sisters??

I think Jake and I inherited Dad's non photogenic gene. Jake has his eyes closed and my mouth is open. Ha

Love this picture of Mom and Dad.
After the wedding festivities we hung out in Park City for a few days. We rode the gondolas up the mountain a few times and hiked and swam and played. Us girls even got away for a little sisterly bonding at Kneaders.
I think Brigham looks tired in all of these pictures. It doesn't really look like it but he was having a blast.

And of course we have to sing Slippery Fish with Papa Moo Moo.

Playing in the snow at the top of the mountain.

21 Months old. Potty training in full swing

21 Month Update

I weigh 25 pounds

My favorite thing to eat is Boston soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. And of course I still love any kind of meat and fruit. My favorite snack is raisins and cheerios.

I love going to the potty in my potty chair. I'm not consistent yet but I have gone about 10 times. I yell "pee"! and then run to the potty chair and go.

Earlier this month I learned how to climb out of the pack n play while at papa choo choo's. made for some sleepless nights. I can also climb out of the crib but I know better now and don't do it anymore.

I am talking really well and can say just about anything. I am also getting really good at putting 2-3 words together to form a sentence. Some of mommy's favorites are 'wuv you' (love you), "I help", "big push" (give me a big push while swinging), "bear poop", and "there ya go"!

I can to count to two.

I love to shout "amen!" after every prayer.

I am super into trains

I want to be outside all day, every day. When I first wake up in the morning I point to the door and ask, "walk"

I think its funny to take off my diaper during nap time.

I like to point out airplanes in the sky and am very excited to get on one this week for our trip to Disney world!
Me sporting my camo jammies and new hair cut. My hair grows so fast though, I already need another one.
Daddy turned the big 30 this year! Mom wanted to throw a party but Dad only wanted to relax and watch basketball and eat taco bell.

 We love you Dad!
Riding Tonka at Papa moo moo's.
We made it up to Shelberia for baby Spencer's blessing. I had fun playing with my cousins.
I am a sweetheart!

 I got into mom's lipstick :)
We had a visit from Jake and Rach and crew. We threw lots of rocks into the lake.
Me after going potty for the first time!

Mom and Dad celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary. They are still the biggest nerds on the block but they sure love eachother!
Me pretending to be a pelican at the migratory bird celebration at the lake.
I quite liked the goose. "Hi goose! Honk, honk!"
I like to push my cars up and down the driveway
It was warm enough to pull out the pool for a few days.

We went 4 wheeling with Papa moo moo and Great grandpa and grandma H. I sat down in a gopher hole and ate my lunch.
I was Papa's shadow while looking for arrowheads.

We couldn't quite make it through the snow drift. Mom and dad tried cutting through a spot that wasn't as deep but they got stuck and had to use the wench.

Getting in some snuggle time with great grandma

While we were 4 wheeling some crazy person started 5 different wildfires. We watched a helicopter take off 50 yards away from us to haul water to the fires.
This is where one of the small fires was. We had rode here just a couple hours earlier.
We saw lots of mountain goats climbing the cliffs. If you look closely you can see 3 white specks in the center of this picture.
This is the fire that was started very near our parked vehicles.
 Me squishing "jak"
There were 4 little monkeys in the tub.
Aunt Rachel and mom scored some huge finds at the community yard sale. They filled up the whole truck. Mom found me this work bench that I play with all of the time!

This was the only Mother's Day picture that was taken. I didn't want to cooperate for any pictures that day.
Here I am throwing a tantrum because I wanted to hold the camera. Its a good shot of all of my new top teeth.
Its been raining a lot lately so for fun one day we went to the indoor carousel

I like to help daddy mow all of the weeds by riding in the hiking back pack
