Welcome to Texas
Our arrival in Texas was kind of rough.
1. Jared got a $200 speeding ticket. Four out of the five tickets he's gotten in his life have been in Texas. Ha. I guess they have it out for him.
2. When we were in Wal Mart that night somebody did a hit-and-run on our SUV. The whole driver's side door is smashed in. Who does that sort of thing?? Luckily we have full insurance coverage.
Oh well, makes for a good story I guess. We are just thankful to be here and that we arrived safely. Jared is loving knocking doors here and has already sold 4 systems in two days. Woohoo! Our apartment is super sweet too and I'll post pictures later. :)

Some Projects
So here are some things I worked on this last month or two. The first two pictures are of interchangeable flip flops. These aren't the ones I made-I haven't taken pictures of them. Anyways, its a fun idea because you can use one pair of flip flops and yet have many different styles by pulling off the velcro. I made one with a purple ruffle and then one with black polka dots and a black tulle flower. The instructions are found here.

Next I made bow/clip holders for all of our nieces. I got this idea also from the make it and love it blog.I'm trying to decide what to do next. Do you have any cute craft ideas for me to keep me entertained while in Texas?

For My Nephew Cash
Last Saturday Jared, my brother Duke, and I ran in the "Strides for Autism" 5K. It was so cool to be a part of this event! I do not enjoy running long distances but I wanted to show my love and support for YOU, Cash! We love you very much!

Jackie and Mark and their crew cheered us on at the finish line. Jared was a sweetheart and ran at my pace the whole way.To learn more about autism visit this neat site: http://www.autismspeaks.org/

The rumor is true..
Yes, it's true. We are off to another adventure of selling alarms. We are moving to Fort Worth, Texas at the end of April! We plan on being there about a year and a half. Ya, not just a summer of knocking doors but year-round, go Jared! He also plans on working part time as a nurse during the off season. We are really excited to working for a new company (TYM) and look forward to a successful year. However, we are sad to be leaving our house (we are renting it) and living so far from family and friends! Please come visit!

For Sale

I don't know if any of you are looking for a motorbike but maybe you know someone who wants one. Its a 2003 Suzuki Intruder with a 805 cc engine, 13,000 miles, and brand new tires. We have it listed on KSL here.
We've really enjoyed this sweet ride but we just don't have room for it anymore.
