15 Months, Thanksgiving, Baby Luke

15 Month Stats

21.8 pounds (10-25 percentile)
31.5 inches (50-75 percentile)
I have 4 teeth
I'm done with bottles!
I love to read books, swing, go down the slide, 4 wheeling, hide and seek, climbing, music, cars, other kids, dogs, and helping around the house.
Yesterday, I learned how to show everyone how old I am by holding up one finger.
I'm learning to say lots of new words like baby, Papa, up, down, meow, ready, go!

Thanksgiving was full of food and family. I got to meet cousins Dylan, Kyler and Cash for the first time. I liked playing with Dylan and tried giving him a hug when he was sad.
Here is Aunt Darcy and Mom horseback riding during Thanksgiving.
This was definitely the highlight of the trip. We had a great time moving cows on horseback. It reminded me a lot of when we were kids riding Rosie and Billy Joe.
 Darcy and Bucky
 Crossing the creek on Killer
I even got to ride the horse with Mom. I was a little nervous at first but after awhile I really got into it. I especially liked petting the horses.
It was kind of windy and cold and I kicked off my shoes.
Grandma reading books!
4 wheel ride with Papa!
I sat on the 4 wheeler and watched everyone sled down the hill and into the mud puddle.

Grandma and Darcy getting into Wii Dance. Shake it!
Reading with Uncle Duke
Jake and Adda boo!
I played so hard by the time Thanksgiving dinner was served I fell asleep.
I got to meet my new cousin, Gracelin. She is so little and sweet!

The weekend after thanksgiving we took a road trip  with Papa and Grandma down to Utah to meet baby Luke.
Mom and Dad showed me around BYU and we ran into Cosmo! I thought it was pretty coold when he was doing tricks but wasn't sure I liked him up close.

Baby Luke was super smiley in my old pjs!
Lookin good!
I didn't make it in the grandkids pic because I could not hold still for two seconds.
Proud grandparents on Luke's blessing day. We also went swimming, shopping, and ate lots of cotton candy and chocolate covered strawberries at the Golden Corral. I had a pile of food 2 inches deep underneath my highchair and food in my shoe even. We had a great time in Utah and wish we could've stayed longer!

A Raccoon that Loves Candy

Isn't he the cutest raccoon you have ever seen? A raccoon is the perfect costume for him since he gets into everything. He had a heyday with all of the candy he got. We went downtown to the Little Tykes trick or treating. All of the businesses on the walking mall handed out candy to toddlers.
We even got a free ticket to ride the indoor carousel.
 Love his little raccoon tail!

Licorice is by far his favorite candy. He really started to get the hang of trick or treating by reaching into the candy buckets and grabbing the licorice. By the time we were done his whole face and suit was red.
These pics are out of order but I just wanted to show that Brig loves to climb. He keeps me on my toes during the day because he frequently climbs up on the table and counters and anything else he can reach.
We took a trip down to Poc-ie the weekend before Halloween. Luke and Brig were best friends. I'm sad I didn't get a picture with Brig and baby Ellie. Next time.

And Brig couldn't get enough of Teddy the dog.
Brig's favorite part of Halloween by was handing out candy to all of the kids that came to our house. The doorbell would ring and he would come running. He wanted to stay outside and greet everyone.

Running to the door
Irresistible!
And it was time to cut his hair...

What a good lookin' dude! Had a hard time sitting still for the photo shoot. Since this photo he cut one tooth on top so he now has three teeth. Except it's one of his side front teeth...he has a little bit of a jack-o-lantern smile now :)

 Sitting with the bear downtown.
Brig is such a good helper. He loves to help me with dishes. He'll push the chair over and climb up and play with the bubbles and water until all the dishes are clean. He also loves to help with laundry and moving furniture around.
Does this look familiar? It's Randy from "The Christmas Story!" Brig has a hard time moving around in his snow gear. Last weekend we got 10-12 inches of snow!
He is also becoming addicted to riding the 4 wheelers. He likes to push the start button.
For my birthday we braved the cold weather and went out to eat at "On Broadway". Two delicious steaks coming right up. Jared was really sweet and I got to sleep in and take a nap on my day. Which I really needed since I has a horrible cold.
 Brig got me beautiful flowers.
 Smelling the flowers.
And this morning I guess he really wanted Jared's Reese's puff cereal for breakfast. Yum. He definitely keeps us busy!
