6 months old

Hi everyone! I turned six months old this week! This last month went really fast! I did lots of things-I got to play with my Haynes cousins twice this month, went on my first 4-wheeler ride, saw papa's baby calves, got a haircut, tried lots of new foods, and I can sit up for a second or two by myself! I weigh 17 lbs 7 oz (50%) and am 27 1/2 in. (75%) tall.

 Let's go to church mom!

The hair on top of my head really needed a trim.
 So did mom's hair!

I loved riding on the 4 wheeler with mom holding me while daddy drove.
 Yea for cousins!
I really don't like to eat anything green...but mom keeps trying to feed it to me.
I loved playing with grandma and grandpa Heagy.
I am pretty independent and insist on holding my own spoon while I eat.

I had the best time while Jax, Bridger, and Addy came to play at my house. I liked to sit in my jumperoo and squeal while the boys ran back and forth.
Addy is almost as tall as me and she is two months younger!

Grils Trip

Here's some goods from the Weishaar girls' trip to Spokane. What a fun weekend! Jared took care of Brig and I know they had a good time hanging out with Grampa W and Uncle Jorden in Shelby. It was my first time away from Brig overnight but I wasn't worried since he loves his Daddy so much!
I rode the amtrak passenger train with Sherry and Ariel to and from Spokane. There are some definite perks to having your father-in-law and brother-in-law work for amtrak. We each got our own room on a sleeper car which was awesome since the train leaves in the evening. It was really relaxing lying there looking out the window at the stars. I did find it hard to sleep though with all of the swaying back and forth and stopping and going. We went shopping, ate lots of good food, and the highlight of the trip was Beauty and the Beast the Broadway show. I was very impressed with the acting-especially the candlestick-there was a lot more humor added to the show than the movie. I was also amazed at the many stage changes/backdrop stuff that went on. It was very enjoyable, but I do have to say that Phantom of the Opera is still my favorite.

The lovely Ariel. We ate brunch at the Old European restaurant. Yummy pastries and what not from Europe.
 Angie, Melissa, and Sherry.

We sure missed you Heather and Mauri!
This was my view of Glacier National Park at 5 or 6 in the morning on our way back to Shelby.
I am definitley looking forward to the next girls' trip!

Thought for the Day

“Patience is tied very closely to faith in our Heavenly Father. Actually, when we are unduly impatient, we are suggesting that we know what is best—better than does God. Or, at least, we are asserting that our timetable is better than His. We can grow in faith only if we are willing to wait patiently for God's purposes and patterns to unfold in our lives, on His timetable.”

5 Months Old

HI everyone! I turned five months old on the 22nd. I weigh a little over 16 pounds and am 26 inches long. I started eating rice cereal about two weeks ago. I like to spit most of it out all over myself and mommy's face because I love making raspberry sounds with my lips. Yesterday, I tried a little bit of applesauce with my cereal and it made the cereal taste a lot better!

 Aren't I a cute little piggy? :)
I have big brown eyes!
Here I am sitting in my bumbo waiting for my first haircut. Mommy just trimmed the really long hairs around my ears and the back of my neck.

I really like my bumbo. I like to sit in it while Mommy gets ready in the morning.
My hair in the back was over four inches long. Mommy accidently kept pulling it whenever she dressed me so it had to go. It's nice to be rid of my tail.

I still don't like tummy time but I can put up with it longer now. I can squirm my way across my blanket.
Daddy and I had a fun time playing in the snow we got last week.

I was pretty tired though and almost fell asleep.
I just love it when Daddy comes home from work! The first thing I do is grab Daddy's face and pull him close so I can slobber on him and bite his nose. I love Daddy!

Other things about me:

My favorite books are "One Red Rooster" and "Is Your Mama a Llama" and "You Should Fly a Jet". I really enjoy being read to. I even get to go to "Books for Babies" at the library where I listen to stories, sing songs, and play games with other babies. I just love watching other kids!

My favorite toys are my keys, my blue bear, rattle, jumperoo, and my zebra.

I still love music. My favorite songs are "Slippery Fish", "Popcorn Popping", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", (basically anything with lots of hand action!), and "I love to see the Temple".

I get to go to the Billings temple on March 3rd to become a forever family with mommy and daddy. So excited! I will also be blessed in church the next day. I can't wait!

4 Month Pictures by Becki

I figured I had better post these before Brig turns five months old this Sunday. My friend Becki got a new camera and so we decided to do a impromptu  photo shoot last month. Didn't they turn out great? At four months Brig weighed 15 pounds and 9 ounces- 50th percentile. He was 25 1/2 inches long- 50th percentile. Perfect little boy!
