Benson is 6!

 This year was Benson's first year having a big birthday party with friends. We had a Jurassic Park party at the Shelby Carousel. Complete with food for carnivores, herbivores, and sweetivores. Everyone had a fun time wearing their dino masks and riding on the rides. Benson has grown a ton this year. He grew five inches! He is reading and loving Kindergarten. He still loves art and creating things and is a nature lover. He collects rocks, bugs, hornet nests, antlers and anything else he can convince mom to let him bring inside. He still has the best laugh and is by far our funniest kid. We love you Benson!

April and May

 I realized I've been slacking on keeping this blog up to date. Prepare for an overload of photos. The last three months have been a blur. Life with 3 kids has been a big adjustment. It's been busy but a perfect dream at the same time. Brielle brings so much joy to our family. Shortly after we arrived home from Utah, grandma and papa choo choo came to meet Brielle and celebrate Easter with us. We went to an indoor Easter extravaganza this year at the high school next door as well as dinner and another hunt at the Weinand's. After that, Nana came to visit and help out for a week. While she was here, Carene and Amy Carroll threw a welcome home party/baby shower for Brielle. She is plenty loved and spoiled because she is the only baby in our neighborhood, as well as the only baby in our ward.
We also celebrated Jared's 36th birthday, our 12th anniversary, and Mother's day of course! The boys finished up 1st grade and pre-k and are excited to attend school together in the Fall.
 Brielle at one month weighed 10 lbs 3 oz (75th percentile) and was 22.25 inches long (90th percentile). She was awake a lot at night and slept most of the day at this time. Thankfully we figured that out and she is a champion sleeper at night now!
At her two month checkup she weighed almost 12 pounds (60th percentile) and 23 inches long (75th percentile).At 2 months Brielle really woke up and started interacting with us and showing us some of her sweet personality. She smiles all the time, loves to be sang too, she likes her head rubbed and her feet tickled. She has a clogged tear duct that has given her some grief but I think that's starting to clear up.
