Week 3 of NY: Manhattan and Fire Island

Here are some pictures of our latest adventures. We took a trip to the city to go to the Manhattan temple. It was awesome to leave the noisy streets and enter a holy place of peace and comfort. I couldn't have picked a more needed place for the house of the Lord. It was simply beautiful.

After the temple we took a stroll around central park. It really is huge! Here's the city at dusk.
Today marks the 3rd day in a row that it has been somewhat sunny and not rainy in NY since we've been here. So we took advantage and headed to Robert Moses beach on Fire Island. Below is the lighthouse that was built in 1856. Little did we know that there was a nude beach there too and not just a lighthouse. Ha. Weird. Gross.
